LEO SHVEYD
MANAGING PARTNER
Leo Shveyd is responsible for day-to-day operation of Vitality Ventures LLC. Along with Michael Green, Leo founded Vitality Ventures with a focus on investing in real estate and active lifestyle 55+ communities. Leo is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and Contractor.
Earlier in his career, he co-founded Advanced Wellness, a personalized training and sports performance gym in San Francisco. Prior to Advanced Wellness, he was a practicing attorney, starting his legal career at Jaret & Jaret and eventually founding the Law offices of Leo Shveyd.
Leo completed his under graduate degree in International Relations (political science
and economics) at UC Davis, before attending UC Hastings Law School.
As someone committed to both family and philanthropy, Leo is involved in several committees and outreach programs at Temple Emanu-El as well as local high schools in San Francisco.
MICHAEL GREEN
MANAGING PARTNER
Michael Green founded Virtú Investments in 1997, building Virtú into an integrated and successful real estate firm that has acquired 118+ properties since it’s inception with a total asset value of over $3B while offering its clients top quartile investment returns on average with an IRR just shy of 20% over a 25-year period.
Along with Leo, Mike sought a new challenge in 2022 and co-founded Vitality Ventures LLC with a focus on investments in smaller real estate projects and active-lifestyle 55+ communities (projects unlikely to be eligible for Virtú’s portfolio). Mike’s primary responsibilities at Vitality Ventures include investor relations, strategic partner development, asset acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management.
Prior to Virtú and Vitality Ventures, Mike worked in an acquisitions role at Bay Apartment Communities (now AvalonBay NYSE:AVB), a prominent Bay Area REIT.
Mike graduated from Claremont McKenna with a degree in economics.
He currently chairs the Leadership Counsel at the The California Nature Conservancy and serves on the Board of Trustees. He enjoys family, friends, fitness, self-discovery, and all things outdoors.
